HP SH Reporter is a cross-domain historical infrastructure performance reporting solution. It displays top-down reports from business service perspective to the underlying infrastructure and bottoms-up reports from the infrastructure to the impacted business services. It leverages the run-time topology information to show how the underlying infrastructure health, performance, and availability are impacting your business services.
The key features of HP SH Reporter are as follows:

This release contains certain unresolved problems, some limitations, and there are workarounds to help solve certain problems. To view the updated list of known issues and limitations, check the Release Notes available at the HP Software Product Manuals web site.
Problem | For the HP SH Reporter reports, if the length of the numeric values displayed on the reports exceeds the report column width, ###### is displayed in the columns. |
Workaround | To view the actual numeric value, using the Edit report option, increase the width of the column in the report. |
Problem | The System Management reports specific to host resource may not display any data for the deployment scenarios where RtSM is the topology service definition. This is because, the host resources such as CPU, memory, and file system may not get populated in the RtSM and hence their details would not be collected in HP SH Reporter. |
Workaround | Currently, the reports will only display data if the nodes are monitored by HP Performance Agent and the Discovery and Dependency Mapping Inventory software (DDM) is installed on RtSM to discover the host resources. |
Problem | Graphs are not visible on reports. |
Workaround | This resolution is applicable for SAP BOBJ Enterprise XI 3.1 installation on Windows.
|
Problem | In the IBM WebSphere folder, for the Thread Pool Performance Details report, the value of average number of threads is less than the value of average number of active threads. For more information, see QCCR1A115761. |
Problem | Data collection does not take place if the collection schedule for the database collectors is modified. This is because the HP SH Reporter Collection Service does not accept the modified schedule. |
Workaround | You need to restart the HP SH Reporter Collection Service after modifying the collection schedule. You can restart the service from the Administration Console. Perform the following steps:
|
