The enhancements and defect fixes listed below all are preceded with a reference number that links to the HP Online Software Support web site.
Cause: The HPOM message browser displays the following incomplete message:
For further information click on the event details link below. This message appears if the version of HP SIM is lower than 5.0 SP5 .
Workaround: Upgrade the version of HP SIM to version 5.0 with Service Pack 5.0 or above.
Cause: Get HP SIM Credentials tool does not work in HPOM Remote Console.
Workaround: Run the tool from HPOM Console instead of Remote Console.
Problem: The Version Verify and Self-Healing Info tools failing on agent running as non-root user
Cause:
When the OM Agent is migrated from root user to non-root user, the
Version Vesrify and Self-Healing Info fails with the following error.
Cannot open collector output file "/tmp/SIM_INT/SIM_INT.xml"
for writing
Workaround: If the OM Agent
is migrated from root user to non-root user, delete or rename the
HP SIM
Integration files or directories from
/tmp
folder
on the node that is created by the root user.
Problem: The error message 'Connection Refused to server. Please Try Again.' is displayed on the system.
Cause 1: The ‘Add Nodes to HPSIM’ tool fails on systems having HPSIM 5.2
Workaround: Launch the HP SIM GUI using the tool 'Launch HP SIM Console' and manually add the nodes to HP SIM CMS. For more information on this please refer to the HP

Cause 2: The ‘Get HPSIM Nodes’ tool failson systems having HPSIM 5.2 .
Workaround: Launch the HP SIM GUI using the tool ‘Launch HP SIM Console’ to view the nodes managed by HP SIM CMS. For more information on this please refer to the HP Systems
Insight Manager Installation and Configuration Guide.
Cause 3: The ‘Execute HPSIM Tool’ fails on systems having HPSIM 5.2
Workaround: Launch the HP SIM GUI using the tool ‘Launch HP SIM Console’ and execute the tool manually. For more information on this please refer to the HP Systems Insight Manager

Cause 4: The ‘Get HPSIM Tool Status’ tool fails on systems having HPSIM 5.2
Workaround: Launch the HP SIM GUI using the tool ‘Launch HP SIM Console’ and execute the tool manually. For more information on this please refer to the HP Systems Insight Manager
