The Microsoft Enterprise Servers SPI contains new features, enhancements and other changes.

You can also find detailed information in the Microsoft Enterprise Servers SPI online help after you install the product.

Before installing the Microsoft Enterprise Servers SPI, ensure to fulfill the following hardware and software requirement:

Enhancements and Fixes

Known Problems, Limitations, and Workarounds

This release of the Micros oft Enterprise Servers SPI contains the following problems and limitations:

(1) Limitation: The MSES_BTS_DB_Configuration Tool cannot be launched from a remote console

The MSES_BTS_DB_Configuration Tool cannot be launched from a remote console, it can only be launched from the management server.

(2) Limitation: Microsoft Enterprise Servers SPI metrics have a limit beyond which values cannot be stored in HP Performance Agent classes.

(3) Limitation: Microsoft Enterprise Servers SPI Graphs

If you are using HP Performance Agent for logging data on the managed node, the Microsoft Enterprise Servers SPI graphs show incorrect data for such nodes.

(4) Limitation: If the databases for the BizTalk and Microsoft Office SharePoint servers are on a remote system, they cannot be monitored.
