Known Problems, Limitations, and Workarounds

The Microsoft Enterprise Servers SPI version 8.03 has certain known problems, limitations, and some of the problems have workarounds.

  • A critical alarm from one of the following policies, with the message, "Unknown State Property" or "Unknown Attribute":
  • The hotfixes available for the following Change Requests (CRs) must be installed on the management server 9.10:
  • The Sharepoint_Discovery policy is not available under the policy group for the Microsoft Enterprise Servers SPI.
    1. Browse to Policy Bank
    2. Select the Sharepoint_Discovery policy
    3. Assign to policy group "/ Policy Bank / SPI for Microsoft Enterprise Servers / en / SharePoint Portal Server / SharePoint Server 2010 / Discovery"
  • The following policies may not work when BizTalk Server or SharePoint Portal Server is configured on a remote database :
  • Microsoft Enterprise Servers SPI metrics have a limit beyond which values cannot be stored in HP Performance Agent classes.
