The provided .pdf documents are Physical Data Models (PDMs) from commonly implemented areas of ServiceCenter. They are not Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs). ServiceCenter's data architecture is not relational by nature. As a result, relationship information does not exist within the data itself (there is no metadata). This prevents Peregrine Development from automatically generating reference diagrams as one would with a relational database. All relationships enabled within the products are done through the various applications. The ServiceCenter Physical Data Model (PDM) is intended as a reference for ServiceCenter system administrators and developers. It has been created to assist with understanding the complex structure of the underlying data.

To generate these PDMs, Peregrine analyzed commonly used tables and their various links. The links depicted are not a comprehensive list of all implied or explicit relationships which may be embedded within RAD application code, RTE (e.g. devices&attribute files) or other application or utility logic. The information provided should be used as a reference to some of the common relationships throughout the application.

This model was generated using what represents data pushed to Oracle. Therefore, the data types and table names are consistent with Oracle's naming conventions, not P4 naming conventions. For example, the table names have suffixes (contacts file is the contactsm1 table in the PDMs); field names contain underscores rather than periods (logical.name is logical_name). Expect variations to these names for P4 or other RDBMS systems.

It is recommended that these models be viewed in Adobe Acrobat at 300% zoom.
