NOTE: The Feb '09 RP release for PI 5.40 release is an English only release and is not localized in other languages.
Installing a report pack configures PI to summarize and aggregate collected data in accordance with specific processing directives. Each item in the list below has hidden text. Hidden text includes a brief overview of the package, notes about changes, a link to release notes, and a list of associated datapipes.
Enhanced Report Packs
IP Telephony Call Detail Report Pack Performance Improvements
Improved performance for data aggregation utilities. The following data aggregation utilities are replaced in this release:

NOTE: The utilities are updated in CiscoCDR_Trendsum.pro and IPT_CallDetails_Location_Daily.pro files.
ATM and Frame Relay Datapipe Performance Improvements
Improved performance of ATM and FrameRelay datapipe map procedures by 30%.
Upgrade NNM Event Report Pack version 10 to NNM Event Report Pack version 14 using upgrade package NNM_Event_Upgrade_10_to_14
Upgrade NNM Event Report Pack version 12 to NNM Event Report Pack version 14 using upgrade package NNM_Event_Upgrade_12_to_14
SD 4.5 Datapipe Improvements
A customized new view that can reflect time zone changes and closer code changes. These views are created dynamically during install/upgrade process.
An updated time period for ITSM_CHANGES.rep, ITSM_INCIDENTS.rep, ITSM_PROBLEMS.rep files shipped with SD4.5 Datapipe. The new time period is set to 1 day.
A number of new map procedures, included with the new SD4.5 Datapipe replaces the Service Desk Report Pack map procedures. The mapper no longer uses the history tables.
The new hourly Sum files offers you improved performance. Note that you need to upgrade the ServiceDesk_Reporting package to avail of the new .sum files.
Support for CCM 6.x
The IP Telephony Call Detail Report Pack now supports the IPT Cisco Call Manager CCM 6.x version.
NOTE: CCM 3.x version is not supported from this release onwards.
Support for HP Operations Manager for Windows 8.10
PI report packs are now certified with HP Operations Manager (HPOM) for Windows 8.10 version information.
New NNMi Incident Report Pack
A new report pack for NNM 8.11 is included in this release. The NNM8.11 report pack contains the following package:

Automatic Backup Enabled in Feb '09 RP release for PI 5.40 Installer
During upgrade, the Feb '09 RP release for PI 5.40 report packs installer, by default, automatically backs up all your previous report packs from the Packages folder into the "Packages.preRNS14" folder. However, you also have the option to back up your existing report packs manually.
Before running the setup program, make sure that the folder "{DPIPE_HOME}/packages" is not being used by any other user.
Report packs and their associated datapipes are licensed. You must make an additional purchase
to obtain each license. For information about

IMPORTANT: Report Packs in the Feb '09 RP release for PI 5.40 release (February 2009) can only be installed on PI 5.40. Do not install these packages on an earlier version of PI.

When you extract packages from the CD-ROM to the Packages directory on your system, the user guide and the release notes for each package are copied to the /OVPI/Docs directory on your PI server.
