Problem Statement | Resolution |
QCCR1B48371. If Veritas Cluster Service is running on HA environment and the master collector is configured to run on HA on the primary system, then the primary system may not come online after a reboot. When the mount-point is mounted to the shared disk for the vxfs file system, the operating system may create the following entry to the /etc/fstab file: /dev/vx/dsk/<disk-group>/<volume-group> /<mount-point> vxfs suid 0 2 As a result, during the reboot process, the operating system tries to perform an fsck on this disk-group and volume-group following the path specified in the /etc/fstab file. This task fails, as the disk group and volume groups are not imported yet. |
To resolve this problem, comment the following entry in the /etc/fstab file: #/dev/vx/dsk/<disk-group>/<volume-group> /<mount-point> vxfs suid 0 2 |
QCCR1B50492. For Veritas only: The following scripts may fail in the HA environment with the warning "VCS WARNING V-16-1-10178 System nnmhaln1 not defined: SystemList not modified"
|
To add the node to HA SystemList, run the following command after runinng the nnmhaconfigure.ovpl script: After the node is successfully added to the SystemList, perform these steps to start the resource group:
|
QCCR1B50493. In the HA environment, the NNM iSPI Performance for Traffic Configuration form for the primary node launches successfully. However, during application failover, the NNM iSPI Performance for Traffic Configuration form still refers to the primary node even if the control is switched over to the secondary node. As a result, launching the NNM iSPI Performance for Traffic Configuration form fails on the secondary node in a failover scenario. |
If the master collector is running in an HA environment, provide the virtual IP address as the master FQDN entry while installing the NNMi Extension for iSPI Performance of Traffic. |
QCCR1B49192. If you launch a Top Application report immediately after opening a Top N report, the Top Application report continues to show the 'group by' columns of the Top N report. |
Before launching the Top Application report, open a Top N report with the 'group by' selection set to Application. |
QCCR1B50207. Old sflow collectors, which are configured prior to installing the iSPI Performance for Traffic 9.01, stop working. | After installing the iSPI Performance for Traffic 9.01, delete the configured sflow collectors, and then add the collectors again. |
The software includes the fixes provided with the iSPI Performance for Traffic Patch 1. The patches will be installed automatically. For detailed information regarding the defects addressed by this version, see the Patch Release Text.
