View the status of an SHR service

1. From the Administration Console, select Administration > Services.
   The Services page opens.
2. In the Service list, select HP SH Reporter Status.
3. View:
   

Field	Description
Service Name	The name of the SHR service.
Description	A description of the service.
Status	The status of the service. Legend description: indicates that the service is up and running. indicates that the service is not running. indicates a warning. indicates that the status of the service is unknown.
Start/Stop	Option to start or stop the service.

4. For a detailed status of the service, click the hyperlink in the Service Name column.
   The Service Detail for table appears, which provides detailed status information such as status of the service, status of the Java Virtual Machine (JVM), and status of the disk space. This table organizes information into two tabs:
   • Service Message Detail—Displays details of the status message.
   • Service Dependency—Displays the services that have a dependency on the selected service.
5. On the Service Message Detail tab, view:
   

Field	Description
Severity	The severity of the message. Legend description:  indicates that the service is running. indicates an error. indicates a warning. indicates that the status of the service is unknown.
Message	A detailed description of the status.

6. On the Service Dependency tab, view:

Field	Description
Name	The name of the SHR service that has a dependency on the selected service.
Service Name	The name of the service as displayed in the Services window.
Dependent	Indicates that the displayed service is depends on the selected service.
Depends On	Indicates that the selected service depends on the displayed service.
