View the PA data source details

1. In the Administration Console, click Collection Configuration > PA Data Source.
   The PA Data Source page opens.
2. In the PA Data Source Summary table, view:

   Field	Description
   View name	A list of topology views that contain the specific CI attributes that the HP Performance Agent collector uses to collect the relevant data. All indicates all the views. Unassigned indicates the HP Performance Agent data sources that do not have any topology views assigned to it.
   Hosts	The number of HP Performance Agent data sources for that particular view.
   Collection: Passed	The number of distinct HP Performance Agent data sources from where the raw data was successfully collected.
   Collection: Failed	The number of distinct HP Performance Agent data sources from where data collection failed.
   Collection: Never Collected	The number of distinct HP Performance Agent data sources from where data was never collected.
   Enabled/Disabled	The number of distinct HP Performance Agent data sources that are enabled or disabled for data collection.

3. To view detailed information about the HP Performance Agent data sources, click the view name or the number in the PA Data Source Summary table. You can:
   • Click the view name to view the list of HP Performance Agent data sources for that particular view.
   • Click the number in the Hosts column to list details of all the HP Performance Agent data sources.
   • Click the number in the Passed column to view the details of the HP Performance Agent data sources from where data collection was successful.
   • Click the number in the Failed column to view the details of the HP Performance Agent data sources from where data collection failed.
   • Click the number in the Never Collection column to view the details of the HP Performance Agent data sources from where data was never collected.
   • Click the number in the Enabled/Disabled column to view the details of the HP Performance Agent data sources were enabled or disabled for data collection.

   The PA Data Source Details <view name> table appears.

4. View:

   Field	Description
   Search: Host name	Search option that support pattern matching search. You can use this feature to search for a particular HP Performance Agent data source or filter this displayed list of hosts.
   Host name	Name of the HP Performance Agent data source.
   Enable Collection	Enable or disable data collection from the HP Performance Agent data source. Note: Use the enable or disable option in the header to enable or disable data collection from all the PA Data Sources in the list.
   Schedule Polling Frequency	Time (in hours) to synchronize the SHR database with the HP Performance Agent data source.
   Connection Status	Status of HP Performance Agent data source connection. Indicates that the host system is connected to the data source. Indicates that the host system is not connected to the data source.
   Collection Status	Status of the data collection showing the date and local time of the latest collection attempt and the current status. indicates that the data collection completed successfully. indicates that the data collection failed. indicates that the data collection was never started.
