This Release Note describes the changes made to Release Control for 9.60. It contains important information not included in the manuals or in the online help.

For detailed information about Release Control, please refer to the documentation set, available on the Release Control installation disk, or accessible from the Release Control application by selecting Help > Documentation Library.

Note: At the time of the Release Control 9.60 release, only the English version User Guide is provided in the Release Control application. The translated User Guide will be provided on the Software Support web site at https://softwaresupport.softwaregrp.com/. When the translated documents are available, you can download the documents and use them to replace the ones in each languange folder in your Release Control installation directory.

Users are automatically added in RC when you synchronize changes to RC by using an adapter. However, you cannot manage these users in RC.

Release Control starts very slowly when using OpenJDK 8 or Oracle JDK 8 on Linux.

There is currently no workaround available.

Some shell scripts need around 5 minutes to display working logs on Linux. These scripts include SdiConfigurer.sh, dump.sh, SdiPersistencyCleanup.sh, ServiceManagerWsdlGen.sh, UpgradeSdi.sh, and so on.
