Operations Bridge Suite 2017.08
Unzip the CDF1706-00136-15000.zip installation file and follow the Operations Bridge Suite 2017.08 Installation Guide instructions.
OMi 10.60 for Windows
Unzip the Windows installation zip file and follow the Installation and Upgrade Guide instructions.
OMi 10.60 for Linux
Unzip the Linux installation zip file and follow the Installation and Upgrade Guide instructions.
Performance Engine 10.60 for Linux
Unzip the Linux installation zip file and follow the Performance Engine Installation and Configuration Guide instructions.
Data Flow Probe 10.60
Unzips to Software folder, containing both Windows and Linux installation folders, and Documentation folder (OMi_DFP_install.htm).
The Data Flow Probe is a prerequisite for creating connected servers for some of the integrations such as the APM-OMi integration. For more information, see the OMi Integrations Guide.
Business Value Dashboard 10.10
Contains both Windows and Linux installation folders. Unzip and follow BVD Installation and Administration Guide instructions.
BVD visualizes your OMi data by enabling you to create custom, flexible dashboards. For more information, see the BVD Installation and Administration Guide.
Business Value Dashboard 10.11 Service Pack
Contains both Windows and Linux service pack installation folders. Unzip and follow BVD Installation and Administration Guide instructions.
Operations Connector 10.11
Contains both Windows and Linux installation folders. Unzip and follow the Installation and Upgrade Guide instructions.
The Operations Connector collects data from multiple third-party party tools and software. For more information, see the Operations Connector User Guide.
OMi 10.62 Virtual Appliance
Contains two zip files, a signature file, and the OMi Virtual Appliance Deployment Guide.
The OMi Virtual Appliance consists of a preinstalled and preconfigured OMi system and is available as an Open Virtual Appliance file that can be deployed to VMware ESX. For more information, see the OMi Virtual Appliance Deployment Guide.
Management Packs
You can download and install any of the Management Pack ISO files. For detailed instructions, see the relevant Management Pack documentation.

Download the service pack OMI_00178.zip. The zip file contains the Windows installation script, and the Installation and Upgrade Guide.
OMi 10.62 for Linux
Download the service pack OMI_00179.zip. The zip file contains the Linux installation script, and the Installation and Upgrade Guide.
Performance Engine 10.62 for Linux
Download the service pack OMIPE_00003.zip. The zip file contains the installation files, and the Performance Engine Installation and Configuration Guide.
OMi manages event, metric, and topology information supplied via data collectors. These data collectors can be either agent-based or agentless.
For agent-based data collection, Operations Agents are installed on target nodes. You can download the agents in the HPE Operations Smart Plug-ins download area.
For agentless data collection, you can use the HPE SiteScope product. For more information, see SiteScope.
The OMi documentation set consists of the OMi Online Help, as well as many additional resources to help you plan, deploy, and best use OMi.
Where available, the links to access it on Software Support Online (SSO) or the Software Information Portal (SIP) are provided.

This guide enables you to specify the type of OMi installation or upgrade that you want to perform and then view or print a customized guide, which includes only the requirements and tasks that apply to you.

FIPS Configuration Guide
This guide provides information on how to configure OMi to be compliant with Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2.
Caution: FIPS-mode cannot be reverted. After OMi has been configured to run in FIPS-mode, it cannot be reconfigured to run in the standard, non-FIPS mode. To run OMi in non-FIPS mode, you must re-install the application and configure it as described in the OMi Installation and Upgrade Guide.

Discover OMi enables you to explore OMi step by step, following predefined paths and learning OMi features along the way. The map begins with an interactive tutorial. Each step offers built-in information as well as links to additional resources, for example, related UI pages, online help, or videos. Discover OMi tracks your progress so that you are aware of the areas you have already visited. Note that progress is stored locally. Deleting browser cookies (or clicking Reset States within the map) will delete your progress.

Online Help

BVD enables you to create flexible dashboards to visualize your data. The guides in this section describe how BVD can be administered and used.
BVD Administration Guide
BVD is delivered in a container as part of the Operations Bridge Suite. The containerized deployment allows for easy scalability and a centralized LW-SSO and LDAP configuration at suite level. The installation and configuration process is described in the Operations Bridge Suite Online Help, while the Administration Guide explains the different dashboard elements and the available integrations.
BVD Online Help
The BVD Online Help provides an overview of BVD and explains how to create dashboards, integrate data from various sources, and connect the data to dashboards.
Performance Engine (PE) is an add-on component of OMi that provides streaming and visualization of custom metrics and system metrics in a large scale environment. Performance Engine aggregates streamed data from Operations Agent or Operations Connector.
The guide in this section describes how a Performance Engine server can be installed and configured. For additional information, see the OMi Online Help > Get started section.

The Operations Bridge Suite helps transform your IT organization from a cost function to a value creator by simplifying and automating IT operations. You can install, administer, and use the Operations Bridge Suite 2017.08 in a container deployment.
This setup leverages the container technology based on Docker and Kubernetes. Docker provides a way to run almost any application securely isolated in a container, and Kubernetes automates the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
The Operations Bridge Suite 2017.08 Premium comprises the capabilities OMi, BVD, PE, and OBR.
