Environment

SecureLogin

Situation

The preference "Allow application definitions to be modified by users" can be set to 'no' to prevent users from making modifications to their SecureLogin application definitions.  In some cases, a user is still able to make changes.

Resolution

When preferences are changed, the cache must be refreshed (if enabled). The user must have their cache refreshed to pick up changes to SSO data (including any new settings.)

To refresh the cache:
  • From the blue NSL icon in the task tray>Advanced>Refresh Cache
  • Restart SecureLogin
  • Wait the specified time in the cache refresh interval value
