Environment

SecureLogin SSO

Situation

NSL installed in stand-alone mode with option selected to password-protect the system tray

When attempting to access the SecureLogin icon in the system tray the following message appears:

BROKER_SECURITY_ALERT(-145)

Resolution

When you turn on password protection for the system tray icon, the windows password is used whenever the icon is accessed. However, once the setting has been made, the workstation needs to be rebooted so SecureLogin can perform the encryption functions it requires to password protect the system tray icon.

Reboot the workstation and the problem disappears.
