Novell SecureLogin SSO

Situation

AdamConfig.exe ran with the following installation options selected during the installation

  • Extend ADAM Schema
  • Create ADAM partitions, and synchronize objects from Microsoft Active Directory to ADAM instance
  • Assign ADAM object permissions

After stepping through the installation options, the following error displayed and the process terminated when finish is clicked.

A configuration error has occured. View results in the Configuration log window

Configuration process started Extending schema with user objects error: Cannot launch external process Configuration process terminated

Resolution

Workaround:

Re-run AdamConfig.Exe from Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs and the installation will complete successfully.
