Question

When Terminal Launcher is launched without an emulator specified, it defaults to a particular emulator. Where is this default setting stored?

Resolution

Answer

This setting is stored in the tlaunch.ini file in the SecureLogin directory on the workstation as per below.

[TLaunch Options]

DefaultEmulator=

To change this setting, run Terminal Launcher and choose the emulator you wish it to default to and click the ’Save settings on exit’ option and close Terminal Launcher or edit the tlaunch.ini file manually (if you do edit it manually make sure your syntax is correct).

The next time Terminal Launcher starts, your new default settings will be displayed.
