Question

How do I find out what mode the SecureLogin client is running in? I think I installed it in Microsoft ADS mode but I am not sure.

Resolution

Answer

When you install SecureLogin, you can choose whether to install it in Microsoft ADS, Novell eDirectory, Novell eDirectory with SecretStore, NT4, LDAP or Standalone (demo) mode.

To view the SSO client mode you are running, right click on the icon in the system tray and choose About from the pop-up menu. You will be presented with a Primary and Secondary data store. The Primary data store is typically the Directory such as Active Directory or Novell eDirectory and the Secondary data store is the offline cache (if enabled).

The Primary data store determines the default data store.
