Question

How do I administer SecureLogin in an NT 4.0 domain environment?

Resolution

Answer

In NT 4.0 domain environments, SecureLogin encrypts and stores SSO data in the file system (since there is no Directory such as Microsoft ADS, Novell eDirectory or SunOne).

To administer corporate SecureLogin data in NT 4.0 domain environments, use the SecureLogin Manager tool. It creates .SCS files that contain SSO enabled applications and settings. The .SCS file is stored in a public area of the file server to centrally publish SecureLogin SSO data.

To administer a particular user’s SecureLogin data, use the SecureLogin icon in the system tray.
