Error -2147016661 assigning rights running adsschema.exe

Issue

A customer wanted to assign rights so users could run SecureLogin. They weren’t sure if the rights had previously been assigned to the container the user objects reside in.

When they ran ADSSchema.Exe and entered the name of the container CN=Users,DC=company.DC=com, the following message appears.

Error opening specified object -2147016661

Cause

The rights have previously been assigned.

Solution

No further action is required. The above message has been reported to engineering and a more user friendly message e.g. ""Rights have already been successfully assigned."" will appear in a future version.
