Affects: PowerRecon 3.2
NOTE: You can only upgrade to PowerRecon 3.3 from PowerRecon 3.2. For upgrading an earlier version you must first upgrade to version 3.2 and then upgrade to 3.3.
Prior to starting the upgrade, it is strongly recommended that you backup your existing PowerRecon database files. Please review the following Kb for instructions on how to backup your PowerRecon databases.
In addition, to speed up the installation process, Write caching can be enabled on the disk prior to installation. To enable write caching please follow the steps listed below
1. On the PowerRecon Server, launch device manager.
2. access the disk device properties, select the policy tab, and then select "Enable Write Caching on the Disk"
Resolution
1. Download PowerRecon 3.3 from the PlateSpin Website
2. Launch the downloaded PowerRecon 3.3 executable and follow the prompts.
