Resolution

When starting a conversion from any Windows based system to a Microsoft Virtual Server you receive the above error message if you have attempted the conversion before and have not cleaned up the remaining files related to the first conversion.

This behavior generally indicates that a file was left over during the initial attempt to convert the server. The locations of the files will vary based on how the virtual Server is configured however the error message will provide the location of the VM.

In addition to the location that the error message specifies there is another file which is known to cause this issue. Make sure to delete the shortcut files located in the directory.

You may also want to search the Virtual Server for the name of the server that is being converted in case any additional files related to the Virtual Machine are left over.
