Situation

During the file transfer stage conversion, the following error may be logged:

 

Error:

Action ServeFiles is in an invalid state. Status currently set to Running

 

Applies to:  PowerConvert v6.0 and higher

 

This error may occur during the ‘Source Machine Ready to Send Files’ step in a conversion if the source machine is accidentally rebooted.

 

 

 

 

Resolution

1.       Delete the target virtual machine if this is an X2V conversion

2.       Perform the conversion once again
