This article outlines information regarding reseting the Graphical User Interface (GUI) inside of PowerRecon. This is to resolve problems where screens are no longer displayed or are arranged in a non usable format.
Applies to: PowerRecon 2.0 and up
1. Close the PowerRecon Client
2. Go to the C:\Documents and Settings\<user> \Local Settings\Application Data\PlateSpin Ltd\PlateSpin PowerRecon\<version> \ directory.
(where<user> is the user that you installed the PowerRecon client with, and <version> is the version and build number of your PowerRecon software)
3. Delete the WindowLayout.dat file
4. Restart the PowerRecon Client.
This will reset the PowerRecon gui back to it's default layout setting.
