Situation

This article discusses a known issue when converting a Windows source machine that has Microsoft Scheduled Tasks configured.

Resolution

When converting a Windows source machine that contains Scheduled Tasks in the Microsoft Task Scheduler, the security credentials associated with each particular scheduled task will not be migrated during the conversion as a user’s credentials will not be transferred with the task file.  This is because the security credentials of a Scheduled Task are not stored with the task, but in the security system database of the Windows operating system.
