Service Map Objects are displayed incorrectly in the AMOP Dashboard after applying NOC pb2 (NETIQKB73391)

NetIQ AppManager Operations Portal 5.0 Patch Bundle 2 Feb 2012

Situation

Service Map objects are showing as a mix of Control Center Service Map objects and NOC Objects when viewing the Service Maps portlet within NetIQ AppManager Operations Portal

Resolution

In Novell Operations Center perform the following:

Login to the Operations Console

Expand Administration

Right Click Servers

Click Configuration > Import

Click Browse

Find the ControlCenterUpdate.config.xml located under /instalpath/noc/NetIQControlCenter/

 

Once the import is complete refresh the web page for the Dashboard and verify if the objects are being displayed correctly.  You may need to refresh the Dashboard in your browser.

Cause

The ControlCenterUpdate.config.xml was not imported into Novell Operations Center
