The UNIX Agent Manager has been known to work on other platforms that can run a Sun Java runtime environment.

Example platforms where the UNIX Agent Manager has been seen to work include the following:

  • Debian Linux
  • Ubuntu Linux
  • Mac OS X
  • OpenSolaris
  • OpenIndiana
  • Nexenta
  • FreeBSD
  • NetBSD

Please keep in mind that NetIQ support for these untested operating systems will be extremely limited.

The NetIQ UNIX Agent Manager is officially supported on the following platforms:

  • Windows
  • Solaris Sparc
  • Linux (SuSE, RedHat, and other x86 agent supported linux platforms)
