Opening a policy in PDF format from the user site requires that the file be saved as a .jsp file
To resolve this issue, open Adobe Acrobat through Start/Programs on the machine where VPC is installed and allow it to fully load and register. Once this is done open a seperate document in the program and then you should be able to open policies normally.
Adobe Acrobat was not associated with VPC so the file type was unrecognized when it was selected.
