NetIQ Analysis Center 2.7.5

Situation

Report Server sub-component alternates status between a red X and a green check mark.
In AC Console - Enterprise View - Report Server: Gets a Red X on the Report Server sub-component.
The IIS component will randomly swap between a Red X and a green check mark.

Resolution

When adding SSRS to Analysis Center, you need to use a "$" instead of an underscore to separate between the servicename and service.

Example: MSSQL$AC

Cause

Highlighting the Report Server gives a warning: 'Cannot open Report Server service on computer '.  Reports will deploy OK, and run as expected.  Despite the Red 'X' on the Report Server sub-component, and the alternating status of IIS in the AC Console, AC Reporting will appear to work just fine.

This will occur when a non-default instance of SSRS service name and service are incorrectly applied in Analysis Center.
