Situation

Setting the Boolean value of a Virtual Attribute in NetIQ Directory and Resource Administrator using the Modify User activity will complete without error, however the Boolean value is not updated.

Resolution

As a work-around for this issue, you can use the following process:

  1. Create a Work Item Attribute (Sting) and make the value TRUE or FALSE in all caps.
  2. Use this Work Item Attribute to build the table that is called by the Modify User activity.

This will allow the value to be set correctly in the Work Flow.

Cause

NetIQ has discovered a problem with the activity and is currently looking in to a permanent resolution.
