Situation

Login Error: Login failed for user NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON

Error when logging in to NRC

Resolution

When NRC is installed in a distributed environement (ie: Not all on one machine) and IIS7 is being used, this problem can be encountered.

To resolve this issue, enable Windows Authentication and disable all other authentication modes for "NetIQ Reporting Service". Restart IIS before attempting to log back in to NRC.

Improper authentication level is set in IIS for the WebService
