NetIQ Aegis Hotfix 73050 for the Database Adapter (NETIQKB73050)

You receive errors when you try to edit or put into production a workflow revision that uses activities from the previous version of the database adapter.

If you put a workflow revision into production, you receive the following error: 'The workflow revision cannot be put into production because there were errors found during validation. '

If you open a workflow revision and edit any of the database adapter activities, you receive the following error: 'Activity module (Library='NetIQGenericDB_1_1',ID='NetIQ.PG.Activity.GenericDB.GenericDB_ExecSQLStatement') does not exist in the repository. '

To correct this issue, please install Hotfix 73050 for NetIQ Aegis  Adapter for Databases.

If your Aegis Server computer is part of a cluster, you must install this hotfix on each passive node first, and then on the active node.

To install this hotfix:

1. Log on to the Aegis Server computer with a local administrator account.
2. Run the Aegis22_Hotfix73050.exe file.
3. Follow the instructions in the wizard until you have finished installing the service pack.
4. If your Aegis Server computer is part of a cluster, repeat Steps 1 through 3 on the remaining nodes in the cluster.
5. Restart any open instances of the Configuration Console.
   

The hotfix installation program automatically restarts the following Aegis services:

• NetIQ Aegis Namespace Provider
• NetIQ Aegis Engine
• NetIQ Aegis Activity Broker
  

Verifying the Hotfix Installation:
Complete the following steps to verify that the hotfix installation was successful.

To check the installed hotfix version:

1. Log on to the Aegis Configuration Console.
2. On the Ribbon, click About.
3. Under Installed Hotfixes, ensure you see Hotfix 73050.
