Situation
How do I manually uninstall the NetIQ Aeigis Remedy Adapter
Resolution
To remove the adapter manually follow the steps below:
- Install ?Msizap? available as part of Microsoft SDK?s:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=c17ba869-9671-4330-a63e-1fd44e0e2505 - Copy the ?MsiZap.exe? file to the local hard drive.
- Execute the following in a CMD:
> msizap TW {25FF1128-9ECD-4d9b-8E85-E1A8FBAF3E25} (i.e. msizap TW {PRODUCT CODE}) - This removes Remedy references from the Windows installer making possible to install again. It will also remove entries from add/remove programs.
- Manually remove files and registry entries that are listed below:
