Hotfix 75942 for NetIQ Aegis Adapter for VMware vCenter Server 1.1.2 (NETIQKB72942)

This hotfix resolves the following issues:

Resolves an issue where the vCenter adapter times out while querying for Datastores
Resolves an issue where the Find Resource Pools activity does not allow you to filter by cluster
Resolves an issue where the Find Resource Pools activity fails while querying Datastores
Improves the synchronization performance of the Resource Management database

Installing This Hotfix
Complete the following steps to install this hotfix.

To install this hotfix:

• Log on to the Aegis Server computer with a local administrator account. If your Aegis Server computer is in a cluster, log on to the active node.
• Run the AegisvCenterAdapter112_Hotfix72942.exe file.
• Follow the instructions in the wizard until you have finished installing the hotfix.
• If your Aegis Server computer is in a cluster, repeat Steps 1 through 3 on each passive node in the cluster.
• The hotfix installation program automatically restarts the following Aegis services:

NetIQ Aegis Namespace Provider
NetIQ Aegis Engine
NetIQ Aegis Activity Broker
NetIQ Aegis Correlation Engine

This hotfix modifies the following files in the C:\Program Files\NetIQ\Aegis\IQConnect73 folder on the Aegis Server computer:
