Situation

Error received when trying to manage properties of a computer in DRA

Error: Server failed to complete the requested operation workflow successfully. Operation SetDomainConfigurationFailed.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, enable the Remote Registry service on the target computer and perform an Accounts Cache Refresh. NetIQ Development is aware that the error message being displayed is inaccurate for the problem described. The error message will be corrected in a future version of Directory & Resource Administrator.

Cause

The Remote Registry service has been disabled on the target computer.
