Resolution

Directory & Resource Administrator (DRA) does not currently recognize all possible syntax types for Active Directory objects for use in Custom User Interface extensions or Clone Exceptions.  The following is a list of attribute syntax types that are supported and can be managed by DRA:

  • Boolean
  • Case Insensitive String
  • Distinguished Name
  • Generalized Time
  • IA5-String
  • Integer
  • Numerical String
  • Unicode String
  • UTC Coded Time

The following list of attribute syntax types are still not recognized by DRA and cannot be managed:

  • DN Binary
  • Large Integer/Interval (Integer8)
  • NT Security Descriptor
  • Object Identifier
  • Octet String
  • SID
