Situation

Does the new Reporting Center in DRA 8.5 and 8.6 support SQL 2008 or SQL 2008 R2?

What versions of SQL are supported for DRA 8.5 and 8.6?

What are the SQL requirements for installation of NRC in DRA 8.5 and 8.6?

Resolution

The NetIQ Reporting Center (NRC) introduced in DRA 8.5 as a component of the new Reporting feature does not currently support SQL 2008 or SQL 2008 R2.  It only supports SQL 2005 SP3 at this time.  Full SQL 2008 support will be provided in a planned service pack for 8.6 in early to mid 2011.
