Checks for service status and permissions always show violation. When you run the NIST Template for Windows 2003 and enter a service status for each of the checks for service status and permissions. They will all give a penalty because the permissions do not match., however there is no way to enter any permissions.

The CIS templates for Windows 2003 and 2000 were modified so that they use the Service status and permissions setting minimum which has a PERMISSIONS parameter.  Run Autosync and download and apply the latest CIS Templates.

The check did not allow you to enter permissions.
