How can you tell if AppManager stopped monitoring the server when system shutdown is initiated?

The managed client server will be monitored until the operating system stops the the NetIQ AppManager Client Resource Monitor service during the shutdown process.  The NetIQ AppManager Client Resource Monitor service is the service which runs the monitoring jobs, and once this service is stopped, monitoring ceases.

Alternately you may use the Troubleshooter tool from within the NetIQ Operator Console to determine if a job is stopped, on the NetIQCTRL utility from the command line.  You can find additional details on using the Troubleshooter or NetIQCTRL in the Administrator Guide.
