Situation
Entitlements for Files and Directories is returning incorrect report results for list versus read and execute. The properties on the file/directory indicate the user has list permissions but the resulting report shows Reand and Execute.
Resolution
Apply Hotfix 72509 along with Hotfix 72517 to resolve the issue. The report will now display the results exactly as the property screen displays.
Cause
The query for the report does not consider the application of the permissions when presenting the results. If the bit setting for read and execute is identical to list permissions on a folder and it displays read and execute. The report will display this and indicate a user acutally has more permissions than they do making the report incorrect.
