Situation
Resolution
To resolve this issue go to the icon being executed to launch the Configuration Utility and right click and select properties. In the properties window place your cursor in the path for Target. Arrow through the path and verify that it matches the location of the file in the error message. A default installation of SCM will have a file path that looks like this:
"C:\Program Files\NetIQ Secure Configuration Manager\Core Services\jre\bin\javaw.exe" -jar "C:\Program Files\NetIQ\Secure Configuration Manager\Core Services\lib\config.jar"
The path for your system may be a bit different if the product was installed in a directory other than the default. Also validate that the file in the error message does exist in the directory structure of SCM. If the file does not exist then there may be another problem and Technical Support will need to be contacted.
