NetIQ Secure Configuration Manager 5.8

Situation

SCM - Error when attempting to re-run a report for failed endpoint
Error: org.jdom.input.JDOMParseException: error on line 1 Premature end of file: XMLSuite
A report was run that had a failed endpoint in it. Attempted to Rerun for Failed Endpoints

Resolution

Run the report again fresh.  Then if the endpoint fails again you will be able to rerun for failed endpoints now.

Cause

The failed endpoint he was trying to rerun the report for had been deleted and recreated since the original report was run.  This gives the endpoint a new guid.
