Content and Script File Permissions check for IIS not matching expected value. (NETIQKB72318)

The Content and Script File Permissions Security Check for IIS is not returning the values expected.

To receive the updated Security Check download the May 2010 Autosync Package.

1) On the SCM Console go to Tools\Autosync Wizard

2) In the Wizard select check for updates.

3) Select the needed updates and select to apply them.

4) Once the updates are applied select okay and now the check has the new information.

The description of the Security Check does not elaborate enough to be clear on what the check is violating.  Also the check does not enumerate Groups by design and this causes some confusion on the returned results.

When applying this update to installations of NetIQ Secure Configuration Manager 5.7 Service Pack 1, you must first apply SCM 5.7.1 Hotfix 71065. In addition, installations using NetIQ Security Agent for Windows 5.7 Service Pack 1 you must apply NetIQ Security Agent for Windows Hotfix 71417.
