Environment

Netiq Secure Configuration Manager 5.8

Situation

The Unix security check, OpenSSH installed, did not return a score that made sense.

Resolution

An AutoSync package with the name Security Check for UNIX (March 2010) containing the revised check with the correct scoring type is available through Autosync.  Use the Autosync wizard to download and apply the package.

 

Cause

The security check had an incorrect scoring type.  It was ?Unique Count? but should be ?Count.?
