Login to SCM from a remote console shows no data. (NETIQKB72130)

Environment

NetIQ Secure Configuration Manager 5.8.x

Situation

Login to a remote console using SQL Authentication is accepted but shows no data from the database.

Resolution

Make sure the account being used to start the NetIQ Core Services service has enough permission to access the database.

Cause

The permissions being used to authenticate to the database are not strong enough to access the database.  The login through Core Services was successful however the database will not allow information to be passed to the console.
