Situation

I'm getting a PSI0095 when upgrading through the PSINSTALL command:

Message ID . . . . . . : PSI0095 Severity . . . . . . . : 00
Message type . . . . . : Completion
Date sent . . . . . . : 11/25/08 Time sent . . . . . . : 14:13:32

Message . . . . : The save file SVFPSI00 in library QGPL is not a valid
cumulative PTF save file
The save file specified in the PTFSAVF parameter is not a valid NetIQ
cumulative save file. Please contact NetIQ Technical support for
instructions on obtaining a valid file.

Resolution

Re-issue the command, and prompt it with an F4.  When the command comes up, in the field for the PTF Save File, put *NONE instead of the name of the upgrade save file.  The upgrade will proceed as normal.

Cause

When running the PSINSTALL command, there is a field for a save file.  This is ONLY used when you have a CUME PTF to install with the upgrade.
