What is the purpose of DRA Hotfix 71962? (NETIQKB71962)

The AD collector did not complete in environments with managed subtrees.
Creating a new user causes an error if the control type of a Boolean attribute is set to a three-state value in the UI extension page.
DRA file replication between 32-bit and 64-bit Administration Servers produces errors in trigger scripts.
Exchange Administrator did not correctly process extended attributes for a user account.
The AD collector gathers properties from some objects that have not been modified since the last data collection in Microsoft Windows Server 2008 domains.
Performing searches from the Delegation and Configuration console and the Assistant Admins node caused the DRA service to stop.
Executing a trigger script on 64-bit computers caused the DRA service to stop.

This hotfix for the Directory and Resource Administrator product (DRA) and the Exchange Administrator product (ExA) resolves specific previous issues. This document outlines why you should install this hotfix and identifies files modified by the hotfix. We assume you are familiar with previous versions of this product.

Note: This hotfix requires NetIQ Directory and Resource Administrator 8.5 Service Pack 1.

To install this hotfix, close all DRA consoles and run the DRA8501_Hotfix71962_setup.exe file on each Administration server computer and each computer where the DRA client is installed.
