NetIQ AppManager 7.0.x

Situation

Unable to use Action_SMTPMail
Error: Unable to create a connection to the Win32 Managed Object. Ensure that the Managed Object is installed and registered.

Resolution

In order to correct this problem, please perform the following the steps on the machine in question:

  1. Click on Start > Run
  2. Type in regsvr32 nqwin32ext.dll
  3. Click OK

This should give a popup stating the registration succeeded.

Cause

This problem may occur if the DLL referenced below is not properly registered by the Operating System.
