Situation

In 6.5 when navigating to the Web Console, it displays a 500 error message on a 64 bit Central Computer

Resolution

On 64 bit systems, 32 bit ASP.NET is not available by default. In order to address this issue and make the Web Console available, please follow the steps in this article from Microsoft, specifically the steps for ASP.NET 2.0 32 bit.

Cause

The web console requires 32 bit asp to be available.
