Problems with nqmdaemon init script problems on Solaris systems with multiple zones. (NETIQKB71650)

Solairs Global Zone with more then one child container/zone running.

Situation

If the nqmdaemon script attempts to kill a zombified agent process on a Solaris global zone with child zones running, all agents will be killed in all zones.

Resolution

Apply Hotfix 71650.

Cause

If the nqmdaemon script encounters an UNIX Agent process which is not accepting the TERM signal (locked, zombified, etc) the agent will attempt to kill -9 all AppManager for UNIX Agent processes on the system by searching ps output.

As the global Solaris zone shows all container processes with ps, all AppManager for UNIX agents on the system and child containers/zones will be killed.
