Error is received when attempting to check in a new package in Control Center

Scripting OR execute permissions are enabled on the IIS virtual directory associated with the job. To upload files to the virtual directory, disable the scripting and execute permissions on the virtual directory.

Scripting OR execute permissions are enabled on the IIS virtual directory associated with the job. To upload files to the virtual directory, disable the scripting and execute permissions on the virtual directory. The error occurred while the remote file was being processed. Check to make sure that the deployment web service is installed and active.

In order to resolve this issue please perform the following steps on the IIS server running the AppManager Deployment Services component:

1. Open Internet Information Services
2. Expand Web Sites -> Default Web Sites
3. Right click on WebDepot
4. On the Virtual Directory tab ensure the following settings are in place:
   • Read, Log Visits and Index this resource are selected.
   • Execute Permissions : None
5. Accept the changes (you do not need to restart IIS)
6. Check in the package

The above error may occur if the permissions in IIS on the deployment server are in correct for the Web Depot virtual directory.
