Situation

An error has been encountered on VPC Admin site under Group Attribute Name Mappings

Error: "An error has been encountered"

Unable to configure or see all sections under Group Attribute Name Mappings or the Synchronization Schedule on VPC Admin site.

Resolution

This error is sometimes encountered on the Admin site when you attempt to view the Group Attribute Name Mappings section or below.  To resolve this issue:

  1. Upgrade JAVA to the latest version
  2. Restart the Vigilent Policy Center service

Cause

The version of JAVA is out of date (likely running 1.5.0) and needs to be upgraded.
